I know I’m not alone with feeling like motherhood is a whirlwind of emotions, expectations, and endless to-do lists. Whether you’re juggling work and family, navigating sleepless nights, or adjusting to new routines, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. But what if I told you that practicing gratitude could bring you a sense of peace and mindfulness in the middle of the chaos?

If you’re unsure of where to start, one of the easiest and most impactful ways to do this is by adding gratitude into your daily rhytmn. How to start:
Keep a small notebook on your nightstand or use a notes app on your phone.
Each day, jot down three things you’re grateful for. These can be as simple as:
A sweet moment with your child.
A kind gesture from a loved one.
God’s presence in the little things, like the beauty of the morning light.
Don’t overthink it—this is about noticing and savoring the small joys in your life.
2. Anchor Gratitude to Your Daily Routines
Why it matters: When life feels overwhelming, it can be hard to remember to pause and practice gratitude. By tying gratitude to routines you already do, you make it an effortless part of your day. This also includes your kiddos and helps them to notice and appreciate the blessings in their lives.
How to start:
During meals: Say a simple prayer of thanks for the food on your table and the hands that prepared it. We like to go around the table and say something we’re thankful for that day.
While driving or commuting: Use the quiet moments to reflect on a blessing from the day or pray for strength and patience.
While tidying up: Shift your mindset from "just another chore" to gratitude for the home and family you’re caring for.
In the evening: Include gratitude in your nightly prayers with your children, thanking God for the day and the lessons it brought.

"Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love endures forever." Let this verse remind you of God’s enduring love and care for your family.
